Save the date for the 13th Annual Signature Luncheon hosted by the Tidewell Foundation benefiting Tidewell Hospice. The event takes place on February 4th, 2022 at 11:30am at The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota. All proceeds from this event will help Tidewell Hospice provide care, comfort, and compassion to more than 10,000 patients and families each year. A 1973 audition forever changed Henry Winkler’s life when he was cast in the iconic role of Arthur Fonzarelli, aka “The Fonz”, in the TV series Happy Days. During his 10 years on the popular sitcom, he won two Golden Globe Awards, was nominated three times for an Emmy Award and was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Winkler has enjoyed over four decades of success in Hollywood and continues to be in demand as an actor, producer and director. He currently co-stars on the hit HBO comedy Barry, a role that has garnered him an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Winkler is also a New York Times best-selling author and to date he and his co-author have written 37 children’s novels. The books were inspired by Winkler’s struggle throughout his life due to his learning disabilities caused by undiagnosed dyslexia. Henry has received a number of accolades from a variety of prestigious organizations and honors due to his services to children, special education and the improvement of the human condition. Of all the titles he has received, the ones he relishes most are husband, father and grandfather. Audiences always leave Henry’s presentation inspired and entertained. Through humorous anecdotes and inspirational life lessons about overcoming adversity to his storied career in television and entertainment, groups of all ages can learn from Henry’s speeches.
