In our commitment to participant safety\, we have secured a dedicated lane on HWY 41\, ensuring a secure pathway for both runners and walkers over the bridge. The route guides participants from Gilchrist Park over the US 41 Bridge and through Punta Gorda's Harbor Walk.\n\nTHIS RACE IS DOG AND STROLLER FRIENDLY!!!!\n\nFor those seeking an alternative route\, a walk-only option is available post-race at 9am\, serving as a vigil to those tragically lost to drowning.\n\nYour participation\, whether in the walk or race\, or through a donation\, supports the mission of Just Against Children Drowning. All proceeds from the event contribute to the provision of free swimming lessons for children and the implementation of essential drowning prevention tools.
