DESCRIPTION:Third Annual "Dog Days of Summer" Variety Show\n\n \n\n    Saturday\, August 23 is nearing the tail end of summer\, so there is no better date to attend the Third Annual "Dog Days of Summer" Variety Show. This bring-your-own-food-and-drinks event at the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association (PGICA) is open to the public. \n   The show will feature Mark Riccadonna\, Denny Corby\, and Justin Gonzalez (collectively\, The Fabulous Laugh Pack) with their comedy\, magic\, and music. They have been seen and/or heard on Comedy Central\, Saturday Night Live\, Netflix\, Sirius Radio\, Today Sow\, Good Morning America\, and many more shows and venues. Both Riccadonna and Corby have performed locally to sold-out audiences. \n\n   Opening the variety show will be a local band\, The Blue Footed Boobies. Most of the band members met as part of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association Acoustic Music Group.\n\n   You won't want to miss the "Paw Parade Across the Stage" during the show featuring several 25 entrants from the of the 2025 Dog Days of Summer ""Poster Pup" contest. This year's winner\, Theodore\,  submitted an entry photo with him sporting an adorable hat after being told he needed sun protection before heading out in the boat.\n\n   Show tickets are $35 per person with reservations available for tables of eight.
