DESCRIPTION:We have just been informed by Charlotte County Public Schools that they are now expecting to welcome approximately 225 new teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. \n\n\n\nTeachers' responsibilities have changed so much over the years\, they need our community support more than ever. We are asking for each new teacher to be sponsored by our caring membership (it takes a village). For those who have sponsored a new teacher this year\, thank you so much!  \n\n\n\nSponsor a New Teacher for Breakfast on Monday\, July 31\, 2023. Your sponsorship of $45 covers the cost of breakfast for you and a teacher. \n\n\n\nWe also invite all members who sponsor a teacher to bring us 225 items for Teacher Welcome Bags. Gifts for inclusion need to be delivered to the Chamber office at 2702 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte by 4:00 p.m. on Friday\, July 14th.\n\n\n\nComplete and return the registration flyer below\, or simply use the Register link at the right to sign up.  The pairing of sponsors with new teachers will be on a random first-come\, first-matched basis.
