DESCRIPTION:Charlotte County Jazz Society presents A Very Jazzy Christmas with Corrine Manning and her Band on December 4 at 7:00 at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center (CPAC)\,701 Carmalita St.\, Punta Gorda. Corrine is a bandleader\, vocalist\, and songwriter and has performed with many recording artists including Gloria Gaynor\, Harry Connick Jr.\, Darlene Love and Liza Minelli. Her nine-piece orchestra\, Vertigo\, played high society events all over New York City\, from The Waldorf Astoria to The Met and at many celebrity events across the country. Corrine sang for The Swing Dance Society with The Roy Gerson Swingtet and A Midsummer Night's Swing in NYC. Also a studio recording producer\, Corrine worked at M & I Studios. Her original songs have been featured in independent films. She sang and performed in the film "The Associate". Her passion for music\, lyrics\, and style is evident in all her performances. CCJS members are free. Non-members can purchase tickets at the door. They are $25\, cash or check. Students are free. Doors open at 6:30. The concert starts at 7:00.
